The Role
Join our team on the beautiful Braeroy Estate, nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. We are seeking someone for a seasonal position who enjoys being outdoors, working with animals, is physically fit, and has experience working in an adaptive estate environment.
This role will require working with varied hours, often exceeding 5 days per week, including weekends. Early starts and late finishes are part of the job.
Key Responsibilities (training will be provided) -
Ghillieing deer stalking on the open hill
Deer retrieval using various ATVs and Highland Ponies; off-road vehicle experience is necessary; equine experience is desired but can be taught to the right candidate.
Assisting and engaging with our stalking guests to create an outstanding hospitality and activity experience
General estate maintenance
Helping with the care and training of ponies
Conducting deer observations and counts
Participating in all general day-to-day estate tasks as part of the team
Personal Attributes
UK Driving License required, ATV and Argo tickets are desirable but not essential
A warm and friendly manner
Must be able to work well as part of a team and be a good communicator
Acute awareness of health and safety
Observant, diligent, and able to take initiative
Be passionate about the outdoors and the Highlands of Scotland
