The Role
As Duty Manager, you will lead the hospitality operations to deliver warm, memorable and consistently excellent guest experiences at The Dores Inn. You’ll set the tone on the floor, coordinate the team, and ensure the highest quality of operational standards, safety and service are upheld throughout service. You will also provide Duty Manager cover across our other Loch Ness venues when required, ensuring a seamless experience and consistent standards across the region. This role suits a hands‑on, people‑first leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Be a role model of WildLand Leadership and Teamwork.
Lead the delivery of a warm, welcoming and consistently high‑quality guest experience.
Actively participate in maintaining a productive, supportive way of working.
Align you and your Team with our People Ethos and Health & Safety requirements.
Partner with Housekeeping and Chef Team to enhance the overall guest experience.
Identify opportunities to continuously improve the Guest Experience.
Participate in the WildLand management systems and processes which support a sustainable business.

You are a confident hospitality professional with a strong beverage background, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm to every guest interaction. Your calm, personable manner helps you set a high standard on busy shifts, ensuring guests feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. With a naturally organised and solutions‑focused approach, you navigate challenges with professionalism and keep service running smoothly. You enjoy taking responsibility, supporting your colleagues, and contributing to a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Adaptable and approachable, you are able to step into Duty Manager responsibilities at The Dores Inn or any of our Loch Ness venues, consistently delivering excellent service and strong teamwork wherever you’re needed.

Hours: 45 hours per week; permanent; full time
Location: Working across multiple Wildland sites in our Loch Ness Region
