The Role
To be a Chef in our team at Aldourie is a sought after experience. In a stunning baronial castle, with the world-renowned Scottish living larder at your disposal, we offer an inspiring work environment and lifestyle, which blends tradition and rich history with contemporary kitchens of the highest specification.
Respect for the quality of our seafood, game and livestock is the cornerstone of our work and we pride ourselves on cutting edge recipes that combine simplicity with excellence and which eschew excess frivolity.
We take pleasure in finishing and serving our food to the discerning guests who choose to stay at Aldourie, and we get the time to really excel at what we do.
Our Chef team is a close knit, supportive group that is growing and is as committed to each other and to our health and wellness as we are to proving the best experiences for our small groups of discerning guests.
You will
- Be a skilled chef with experience in fine dining or as a private chef, capable of producing memorable culinary experiences for up to 50 people
- Be someone who responds positively to short notice dining requests and special events
- Be passionate about your craft and be ingredient led in your cooking
- Be a supportive team player who encourages others regardless of whether you join us for a summer or stay and grow with us long term
